Fix the NHS by Putting Patients First
Britain’s NHS is broken. Not because of our brilliant doctors and nurses, they’re the best in the world, but because of years of waste, political meddling, and layers of managers who’ve forgotten what the NHS is actually for.
We’re paying the highest taxes in 70 years. We’re told there’s “record funding” for the NHS. And yet people are dying on waiting lists. That’s a national scandal.
The truth? The politicians running the show have turned the NHS into their own empire. It’s become a jobs factory for clipboard-carrying bureaucrats while patients are left to suffer. It’s your NHS. You pay for it. And it should work for you.
Here’s How We’ll Fix It..
Patients in Command – If you can’t see a GP within three days, a consultant within three weeks, or get surgery within nine weeks, you take your care elsewhere and the funding follows you.
End the Shortage of Staff – Scrap caps on medical training, give tax breaks to doctors and nurses, and bring back those who’ve been driven out.
Cut Bureaucracy, Not Care – Sack the pointless middle managers, end wasteful diversity box-ticking, and put decision-making back in the hands of people who actually treat patients.
Use Every Resource – Public, private, independent ,if it helps get you seen faster, we’ll use it. The patient comes first, not politics.
Common Sense First Aid – Pharmacy First, GP Second, A&E Last. Stop clogging emergency wards with cases that aren’t emergencies.
The Goal is Simple..
An NHS that is still free at the point of use, but fast, efficient, and run with common sense.
The NHS is a promise to the British people.
Right now, that promise is being broken.
We’re going to keep it. We’ll restore pride in the health service, respect for our medical professionals, and confidence that when you need care, you’ll get it quickly and properly.
This is not pie-in-the-sky. This is a plan.
We’ll make it happen by ending waste, using resources better, and putting patients, not politicians, in charge. The NHS belongs to the people. Let’s take it back.
