Reform UK: A Sensible Plan for Social Care
Few issues expose the failures of our political class quite like social care. While Westminster has been obsessed with their latest crises, ordinary British families have been left to navigate a system that frankly doesn’t work.
At Reform UK, we believe in practical solutions, not endless committees and consultation exercises.

Here's what Reform UK will deliver:
One system that actually works. We’ll launch a Royal Commission but unlike the usual Whitehall talking shops, this one will have a clear brief: design a unified social care system for the whole of Britain. No more buck-passing between councils and the NHS. One funding stream, clear accountability, job done.
British money for British care. Reform UK will stop the scandal of offshore companies extracting profits from our social care system while providing substandard service. These complex tax avoidance schemes have no place when we’re talking about caring for our elderly. Every pound should go to actual care, not clever accountants.
Common-sense pensions. Other countries such as Australia have designed pension systems that are simple, effective, and work for ordinary people. Reform UK will learn from these successes rather than persisting with our current bureaucratic maze.
Keeping faith with our miners. The mineworkers built this country’s prosperity. Reform UK will implement the parliamentary committee’s recommendations in full and ensure pension surpluses go where they belong to the miners themselves.
This is what Reform UK stands for: straightforward governance that puts British families first.
We’re not interested in managing decline or tinkering around the edges. We’re here to fix what’s broken and restore some common sense to how this country is run.
That’s the Reform UK difference.
